Khabib walkout music: who sings UFC 249 champ’s Dagestan entrance song?
The UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is one of the most popular martial artists in the world. It’s not a surprise that a lot of people are interested in Khabib’s personal life, his training, and practically anything about him. After all, the undefeated champ is a massive star with a huge fan base and over 18 million followers on his Instagram account.
In this post, you will find out Khabib’s signature walkout song which he used as an entrance in his most recent fights against Conor McGregor at UFC 229 and Dustin Poirier at UFC 242. It is also the soundtrack that will be used during Khabib’s walkout entrance when he faces Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 on April 18.
In the picture below is Sabina Saidova (also known as Sabine Kors). She is a Dagestani-Russian born singer and songwriter, currently lives in New York.
She wrote her song “Dagestan” more than 10 years ago while she was studying in Moscow. Khabib Nurmagomedov first walked out to “Dagestan” in 2016 when he fought Darrell Horcher. Sabina didn’t even know at the time that her song will be used as a walkout for “The Eagle”.
Sabine Kors and Khabib Nurmagomedov met in person in 2018 after Khabib’s title fight with Al Iaquinta.
In fact, Sabina was in the audience during Khabib’s entrance to “Dagestan”.
The version of Sabine’s “Dagestan” Khabib uses for his entrance is in the Russian language. It’s a song about the beauty of Dagestan and love for the homeland while away from home. Kors translated part of this song in English on her Instagram.

We will hear Khabib’s walkout song “Dagestan” performed by Sabine Kors once again at UFC 249. No doubt, Sabina will be there in the audience to support “The Eagle” in his tough matchup with the №1 contender Tony Ferguson.
How cool it would be if Sabine Kors got to sing live for Khabib’s walkout in the upcoming event?
